Size Matters

You might want to keep the scale consistent. So when you look at all your collected materials, they have the same size. Some of them go for 1:12 or 1:36. If possible, stay in the same range so you won’t have inconsistent sizes.

Brand

This is only if you are starting. It is recommended to start with a particular brand. If you like Lamborghinis then go for it. If you like supercars, then there are many available online and even on your mobile traffic checker.

Period

If you are considering the money involved, you might need some preparations for it. But the good thing is, you don’t need to do it right away. You can start slowly then build it up according to your pace.

  1. The last part is a great reminder. Yes, you really need to take your pace when you are just starting. Don’t rush the process because it can get expensive. What I did for myself is I set a budget per month then I found a great online site to buy cheap model cars.

  2. I like the suggestion about the period. I will do it myself because I am in love with vintage cars so it will be a blast if I can collect all of the car models that were in the market during those times. Then I can have my own mini car museum at home!

  3. I read this too late. When I started mine, I started randomly and then I realized, my collection was a mess. That’s when I decided to just focus on one brand before moving to another. That gave me the thrill I was looking for because sometimes, it’s not easy to look for specific models.
